The Billing & Receivable Specialist supports the day-to-day finance operations, including invoicing customers, accounts receivable (AR), cash applications and monitor & respond to customer correspondence. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, full AR cycle, and can handle system tickets and ad hoc finance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and follow up on payments
- Review overdue accounts and help resolve outstanding balances
- Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders
- Coordinate with teams to address billing or payment issues
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system
- Support month-end activities and basic reporting
- Assist with audits and suggest process improvements
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ Years of Accounting experience and appropriate accounting qualification.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, Sage, FloQast, or similar accounting systems preferred.
- Solid understanding of AR processes, effective collection strategies and the end-to-end accounts payable cycle.
- Ensures accuracy and adherence to company policies and accounting standards
- Proficiency in Office 365 and financial reporting tools, particularly in Excel
- Experience with global banking platforms is an advantage
