The Finance Associate role performs financial processes and services that are critical for effective operation of finance function. The role supports the Financial Controller in overseeing day-to-day transactional finance activities, maintaining strong financial controls, and contributing to period-end close, reconciliations, and reporting accurate, timely, and compliant financial reports for ANZ region.
Responsibilities
- Month end accounting and processing (accruals, software capitalization, month end reports, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations)
- Maintaining and updating fixed asset register, computing depreciation and processing journals
- Treasury management
- Monthly BAS
- Debtor Management, consolidation
- Year-end accounting management
- Support for annual audits
- Customer invoicing
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as required.
- Ad-hoc finance queries and analysis.
Skills and Experience
- Preferable with at least 4 years of Accounting experience and appropriate accounting qualification.
- Ability to communicate effectively and attend to matters timeously.
- Excellent working knowledge of accounting systems.
- Experience with global banking platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end financial processes.
- Ability to perform commercial analysis to support decision-making based on customer requests.
- Strong command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel
- Willing to work under a fixed-term contract for 4 months
