Ideagen is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Change Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the change management process within the organization. Your role will ensure that changes are effectively planned, communicated, and implemented while minimizing risks and disruptions to business operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Change Management:
    • Own and manage the overall change management process, ensuring compliance with defined policies and procedures.
    • Evaluate and assess the impact, risk, and readiness of proposed changes.
    • Coordinate the planning, testing, and deployment of changes across teams.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the central point of communication for change-related initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and support for changes.
  1. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously improve change management processes and practices in line with industry standards (e.g., ITIL).
    • Identify and implement best practices to streamline change approval workflows.
    • Collaborate with & support the Incident Management team to identify root causes and prevent recurrence of incidents.
  1. Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track and report on the progress and success of change initiatives.
    • Provide detailed post-change evaluations and ensure lessons learned are documented.
  1. Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks associated with changes and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct impact analyses and ensure risk assessments are performed prior to implementation.
  1. Training & Support:
    • Provide training and guidance to teams on the change management process.
    • Act as a mentor for team members involved in change-related activities.

 

Shift Time: UK Shift (12PM-9PM)

 

 

Skills and Experience

We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything ITIL, however, good ‘all round’ knowledge of the following is essential:

 

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Change Manager or in a similar ITIL-based role.
    • Hands-on experience in IT operations, service management, or organisational change initiatives.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA, or similar platforms).
    • Understanding of cloud services, networks, and enterprise IT environments.
    • ITIL certification (preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage high-pressure situations with calm and clarity.
    • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration.

 

Desirable:

    • Experience with incident management and problem management processes.
    • Strong understanding of business impact analysis and risk management.
    • Working within a Product Environment.
    • Exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption.
