Ideagen is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Commission Analyst to join our finance team.

 

The Sales Commission Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and creating a report of Sales Commission details for the Global Region. After analyzing the contracts, the analyst will ensure all commission structures are correctly applied and aligned with the company's policies. The role will also be responsible for streamlining the automation of sales commission analysis to improve accuracy and efficiency  

 

Responsibilities

Commission Calculation and Processing

  • Process and calculate accurate commission payments for sales and other eligible teams based on performance data and compensation plans.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payouts of commissions and adherence to payroll deadlines.
  • Monitor adjustments, clawbacks, and corrections for commission payouts as necessary.

 

Analysis & Reporting

  • Create and maintain detailed commission reports to track performance trends and ensure data accuracy.
  • Present monthly and quarterly commission performance insights to management and key stakeholders.
  • Work with Finance and the RevOps function to ensure the timely implementation of the SPIFF commission system.
 
Policy & Compliance
  • Document and maintain up-to-date records of commission plans and related processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies or risks in current systems and recommend improvements.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of compensation structures and sales incentive plans.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities.
  • Team player with a customer-focused approach.
