The Associate, Accounting Research Analyst is responsible for accurate data collection from various public disclosures into our Audit Analytics’ product’s proprietary systems. This includes research through public disclosures, identifying key information, and completing accurate data entry while following all necessary data collection best practices, policies, and procedures. Data review and collection will be standardized to the English language. Work shifts can vary to coincide with global cross functional communication.

Responsibilities

  • Research and examine publicly available financial documents and identify relevant information via the web
  • Organize and collect detailed information
  • Meet data entry productivity requirements and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Adhere to current documentation guidelines and data collection best practices
  • Collaborate with peers for guidance on and improvement of data collection processes
  • Maintain accurate databases through periodic quality control processes
  • Liaise and work with US and/or global research teams remotely to ensure quality of work

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting and Finance or similar field
  • Desire to learn about accounting, regulatory, and legal markets
  • Ability to maintain focus on quality of data entry while performing repetitive functions
  • Demonstrated ability in CEFR level C1 or C2 proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good relationship skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels within a global organization 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail
