The Account Manager for Expansion Business will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Ideagen’s SaaS solutions within the Mining, Utilities, and Construction sectors in the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts, developing strategic relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster long-term loyalty and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

1. Account Management:

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in existing accounts within the Mining, Utilities, and Construction sectors.
  • Customer Retention: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by understanding client needs and aligning Ideagen’s solutions to meet those needs.

 

2. Business Development:

  • Expansion Strategy: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Ideagen’s SaaS solutions to existing customers.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline by regularly updating CRM systems with client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts.

 

3. Sales Performance: 

  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs for revenue growth and customer retention within the assigned verticals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and close contracts that ensure mutual value for both the client and Ideagen.

 

4. Industry Expertise:

  • Sector Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities within the Mining, Utilities, and Construction sectors.
  • Solution Alignment: Leverage industry knowledge to position Ideagen’s SaaS solutions effectively and demonstrate their value to clients.

 

5. Collaboration:

  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product Management, and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to account management and client satisfaction.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to inform product development and improvement.

 

6. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, including sales activity, pipeline status, and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies

Skills and Experience

Experience:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in account management, sales, or business development within the Mining, Utilities, or Construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts, particularly within a SaaS environment.

 

Skills:

  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SaaS solutions and ability to understand technical aspects of Ideagen’s offerings.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and customer data to inform strategic decisions.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the ANZ region as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or office-based environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
