The Account Executive - New Business specializing in Mining, Utilities, and Construction verticals is responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients within the ANZ region. This role focuses on selling Ideagen's SaaS solutions, leveraging industry expertise to address the specific needs of these sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the relevant verticals.
    Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects within the ANZ region.
    Execute the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    Maintain a deep understanding of the key industries, including market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
    Position Ideagen's SaaS solutions effectively to meet the unique needs of these sectors.
  • Client Engagement:
    Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
    Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and propose tailored SaaS solutions.
    Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Ideagen's offerings.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and initiatives.
    Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on market demands and feature enhancements.
    Partner with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM systems.
    Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
  • Continuous Learning and Development:
    Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Skills and Experience

  • Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on Mining, Utilities, or Construction sectors.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly with SaaS solutions.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of the Mining, Utilities, and Construction industries and their specific challenges.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative sales approach.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. (Salesforce, MEDDPICC)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel within the ANZ region as needed.
    • Valid driver’s license and passport.
